And, on the evening prior to the conference, Cabrini will be hosting the kick-off event for the beautiful conference that our friends at Temple have planned for us. This will be on Thursday, April 19th at 7:30pm the Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Here we will be screening Every Speed, which is an experimental short documentary that explores able-bodied and disabled perspectives on body movement, transportation, and dependence. We are delighted that the filmmakers will be present at this event for discussion. We will also have food and refreshments at this event. We hope this will be a nice social event to kick off our fellowship and discussion about disabilities and writing.
Please RSVP directly to Michelle Filling at [email protected] so that we can gain an accurate head count for the dinner. This RSVP is separate from registering for the conference.
